XTZ Padel Fence: Italian Manufacturer Since 2010 | Made in Italy

When developers, club operators, and national federations need a padel fence built for twenty years of daily play, most end up at the same place: XTZ Padel, an Italian manufacturer building its reputation one court at a time since 2010. This page covers who we are, what we make, where we have built, and how an international project with us runs from first call to final whistle.

1. Who Is XTZ Padel?

XTZ Padel is an Italian padel infrastructure company founded in 2010 in Grisignano di Zocco, Veneto — the heartland of European padel manufacturing. Our founders were structural engineers and padel enthusiasts who saw a clear gap: padel was spreading fast outside Spain, but most fencing systems were hand-welded by local fabricators or imported from manufacturers who had never installed a court.

Over sixteen years XTZ Padel has grown into a 15,000 m² integrated facility with in-house hot-dip galvanizing, robotic welding, polyester powder coating, and an export logistics department shipping to 30+ countries:

  • 100+ projects across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia-Pacific
  • 400+ courts installed by XTZ teams or under on-site supervision
  • 10-year structural warranty on every galvanized system
  • FIP-approved materials — paperwork handed over before the deposit clears

We are not the cheapest supplier, and we have never tried to be. We build for buyers who measure success in decades. Multi-court operators, sports academies, and resort properties return to us because the first XTZ fence from fifteen years ago is still standing.

2. What Makes XTZ Padel Fence Different?

Four engineering choices set an XTZ Padel Fence apart from generic alternatives. None are visible from outside a finished court. All matter, ten years in.

Hot-dip galvanization as baseline, not upgrade. Every steel component passes through our in-house molten zinc bath at 450 °C for an 80–120 micron metallurgical bond, conforming to EN ISO 1461. Compare with the electro-galvanized plating (10–25 microns) common at low-cost exporters: the XTZ coating is physically part of the steel, not a flaking surface layer.

FIP-approved materials, audited quarterly. Raw steel from European mills with 3.1 certificates. Tempered glass from Italian and German furnaces whose optical quality and break-pattern certification we re-verify per batch. XTZ is one of the few Italian manufacturers referenced in national-federation tender documents across three countries.

Marine-grade polyester powder coating. After galvanization, every component is pre-treated and electrostatically coated with 60–80 microns of polyester — never epoxy, which yellows outdoors. Standard RAL colors are stocked; custom RAL matches ship in 2–3 weeks for projects of 4+ courts.

A 10-year structural warranty that means something. We control design, fabrication, galvanizing, coating, assembly, and export — so the warranty runs between you and the manufacturer, not three layers of resellers. Claims are handled by the engineers who built your court.

3. XTZ Padel Fence Product Range

An XTZ Padel Fence is not a single product. It is a modular system configured around the project: club-vs-tournament, panoramic-vs-recessed, indoor-vs-outdoor, coastal-vs-alpine. Four production lines cover about 95% of what we ship. The other 5% is fully custom.

Line 1 · Panoramic Glass. Full-height 12 mm tempered glass on all four side walls, no visible vertical posts in the spectator line of sight. Posts hide inside structural columns; the court reads as a floating glass cube.

Line 2 · Hybrid (Glass + Mesh). The configuration we recommend most often. Two meters of solid tempered glass on the lower side walls, transitioning to 50 × 50 mm galvanized mesh on the upper two meters. Captures roughly 80% of the panoramic feel at about 60% of the cost.

Line 3 · Standard Glass. 10 mm tempered glass on all four walls with visible structural posts. Common for urban premium clubs of 1 to 2 courts where tournament status is not a priority but visual quality matters.

Line 4 · Metal Mesh. 4 mm wire, 50 × 50 mm mesh, hot-dip galvanized and polyester-coated, with structural posts every 2.5 m. The workhorse choice for academies, schools, training facilities, and private residences — the longest lifespan of any line at 25+ years.

All four lines share the same post anchoring, gate hardware, and coating chemistry. A club that starts with two Standard Glass courts and adds two Hybrid courts three years later ends up visually consistent, even though the wall systems differ.

4. XTZ Padel Fence Project Portfolio

Five case studies across climates, scales, and use cases.

Padel Club Vicenza, Italy — 6 courts, 2014. Our flagship reference site. All six Hybrid, installed in 2014 and still operational with no structural intervention beyond routine mesh re-tensioning at year 9. Twelve years in, this is the track record every prospective client asks to see.

Marbella Padel Academy, Spain — 8 panoramic courts, 2017. Full Panoramic Glass in custom RAL 9005 matte black. Coastal Mediterranean site, 800 m from the Atlantic. The 9-year inspection shows no measurable coating degradation.

Dubai Sports City, UAE — 12 courts, 2019 + 2022. Hybrid with reinforced posts rated for 30 m/s wind gusts. Phase 1 ran 7,500+ play hours per year; phase 2 followed in 2022 with the same specification.

São Paulo Padel Club, Brazil — 16 courts, 2021. Hybrid and Metal Mesh mixed (8 + 8) for tropical humidity, with anti-fungal powder-coat additive on the mesh courts.

Houston Padel Center, USA — 4 panoramic courts, 2023. First North American flagship. Panoramic Glass with hurricane-rated post anchoring for Gulf Coast conditions.

We have done similar projects in Mexico, Chile, Australia, South Korea, Egypt, and Morocco. Every project ships with photographs, installation logs, and post-handover inspection reports — the paper trail that simplifies insurance, federations, and future courts-on-the-same-site.

5. How to Order XTZ Padel Fence

Six steps, start to finish. Timelines vary with configuration complexity and destination logistics.

  1. Consultation (3–5 days). Email, call, or video meeting. We listen, share initial configuration ideas, and tell you up front whether your site is workable structurally.
  2. Site survey & brief (1–3 weeks). Outside Italy via your local architect or surveyor; we supply the checklist and review documentation remotely. Inside the EU, an XTZ engineer visits in person.
  3. Quotation (5–7 days). A configuration matrix with 2–3 pricing tiers, materials schedule, logistics estimate, and indicative timeline. Pricing depends on configuration, RAL color, anchoring system, and shipping terms.
  4. Manufacturing (4–7 weeks). Steel is cut, welded, galvanized, and coated on our 15,000 m² line. Glass is tempered and packed.
  5. Shipping (10–35 days). Routed via 20 or 40 ft sea containers from Genoa. Documentation includes Certificate of Origin, CE marking, FIP paperwork, and any country-specific compliance certificates.
  6. Installation supervision (3–5 days per court). Your local contractor handles labor; our supervisor is on site for the first court and provides remote video support for the rest. For complex builds, an XTZ engineer stays for the full project.

From consultation to first ball hit, a 4-court club takes 10–14 weeks. A 16-court national rollout takes 4–6 months with phased shipments, each cluster playable while the rest is in production. Final numbers depend on configuration — request a tailored quote and we return a configuration matrix with 2–3 pricing tiers within 48 hours.

6. Frequently Asked Questions About XTZ Padel Fence

Where exactly is XTZ Padel manufactured?

Every XTZ Padel Fence is built in our 15,000 m² facility in Grisignano di Zocco, Vicenza province, Veneto, Italy. Steel cutting, robotic welding, galvanizing, coating, and assembly all happen on one site. The Certificate of Origin confirms Made in Italy for your destination’s customs paperwork.

How long from order to delivery?

A typical 4-court club takes 10–14 weeks: 5–7 weeks manufacturing plus 10–35 days shipping. National rollouts of 16+ courts are staggered, so each cluster is playable while later clusters are in production. A binding timeline is confirmed in the contract.

Can XTZ Padel handle installation outside Italy?

Yes. The standard model is materials supply plus on-site supervisor for the first court and remote video support for the rest. Your local contractor handles labor. For complex builds (hurricane-rated structures, multi-floor clubs), an XTZ engineer stays on site.

What is the warranty process?

Submit photos and a written description to our engineering team. We evaluate within 48 hours and either ship replacement components or arrange a site visit. Because you deal directly with the manufacturer, the process is faster than through resellers.
